Senior, Softball

Stephanie was the winning pitcher in both regional tournament games played this week.  On Wednesday she pitched a complete game victory over Mason, the #5 ranked D-1 team in Ohio.  She then pitched her second complete game of the week on Saturday, a 5-0, shutout championship win over Lebanon, the AP #1 ranked team in the state. The latter win was her 20th of the current season.

Alyssa Triner

Junior, Softball

Alyssa was a major contributor in both of West ’s regional tournament wins this week.  She hit home runs in both games, batted in runs in both (3 total) and scored runs in both (4 total).  She played all 14 innings batting a cumulative 0.750 while playing error-free softball at the hot corner of third base for the final four bound Firebirds.
