When the teams left the court at intermission the score was knotted at 32-32 but the Firebirds burst out of the locker room and opened a 7 point lead going into the final quarter. Leading Firebird scorers for the gme were the usual suspects; Julian Mackey with 28, Carter Combs with 18, and Oscean Anuforo with 14. Alex Afari was the team leader in both rebounds (6) and assists (6). The Firebirds led the Middies 34 to 11 in points off of turnovers with 6 different West players being credited with steals.
