Ortwein set the school record in the 500 yard free style prelims to make it into the eight person finals. He was the only West swimmer to make the finals this year. Jakes new Lakota West record time is 4:33.20 which tops the old mark of 4:33.40 set by Bryan McNamara seven years ago.

West Girls Finish 29th in the state compared to 14th in 2019.
West Boys Finish 33rd in the State compared to 44th in 2019.
