Summary:
The West football program experienced their first home opener and senior night all in the same night in school history. Hamilton Big Blue marched down the field with command and scored first on the first drive of the game. The Firebirds never looked back from that point on. Alex Afari and Kwiesi Jones Picked off the ball on 2 consecutive drives as Jones scored on a pick 6 to tie up the game. Sophomore Mitch Bolden caught fire throwing for 139 yds connecting for 3 touchdowns. He also ran for 53 yds with 1 rushing touchdown beating Hamilton Big Blue 40-13.
