5 firebirds were in action at Otterbein University Jan 5^th.  Ayana Johnson and Annika Kinley continued their impressive indoor seasons turning in season bests in the High Jump.  They finished 1-2 in the High Jump both clearing 5’4.  Ayanna also finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet.  She currently has the best triple jump in the state at 34’7.  Both Ayana and Annika are also ranked in the top 10 in the high jump in the state.  Malcolm Rencher kicked off his indoor season with 2 top 10 finishes in the 60m and Long Jump.  Alex Kelker and Zach Beneteau each ran the 1600 and 800 recording impressive times.  Alex won the 1600 and placed 7^th in the 800.  Zach finished 6^th in the 1600 and 15^th in the 800.

The Firebirds will be back in action Saturday, January 12^th at Ohio State University.
