Charlie drove in the winning runs in a 5-3 victory over Lakota East on Saturday. Hall’s two-run double in the top of the ninth ultimately sealed the deal for the Firebirds. On Sunday, the second day of the East/West Senior day’s series Hall picked up another hit and another RBI. This sure-handed outfielder tallied six putouts in these two games combined raising his total for the year to 18 and keeping his season fielding percentage to a perfect 1.00.
Kaelyn Mathis

K. K. Mathis was credited with the complete game 7-1 pitching win over Lakota East on Monday handing the Hawks their only loss of the season. She contributed to the win with her bat as well as her arm by driving a three-run home run which cleared the 8 foot outfield fence at the 215 centerfield mark. Mathis traveled to Hamilton two days later and pitched a perfect game; 15 up and 15 down. She also hit 1 for 2, adding a double for good measure.
