Paul was credited with three shutouts by a goalkeeper this week. He started by blanking Colerain on Tuesday when anything less would have cost the game, came back to shutout Middletown on Wednesday, and was key to a 0-0 tie at Elder on Saturday. Walters was credited with 5 saves against Elder including the stop of a Panther penalty kick. For the week he had 9 saves and allowed no goals.

Maya led the Firebirds in scoring with a pair of goals scored in a 4-0 GMC win at Colerain last Tuesday. Martir picked up the third goal against Middletown on Thursday to match the high team total for the week. She is a returning all GMC first-team striker and a team captain for this year’s league-leading Firebirds.
