Lakota West Girls Soccer wins D1 STATE Championship!
Season Highlights by Bob Ashby:
Team:
1. First Undefeated Soccer Team in the 43-year history of Lakota District soccer.
2. 22 wins — Most wins in a season. Topped the Lakota West girls record of 18 set by the Lakota West 1999 State Championship team and 19 by the 1988 Lakota girls regional runner up team.
3. The 2019 West girls team also broke Lakota records for:
— Most goals per game scored 4.7
— Least goals per game allowed 0.4
— Largest Average Margin of victory 4.3
Individual:
1. Kailyn Dudukovich
50 goals in a season — Sets a new record high for the Greater Cincinnati Metro area. The previous high mark was 45 attained by Robin Paffe of McAuley in 1986.
**Dudukovich also tied the Lakota single-game record of 5 goals and Jones tied the single-game record of 4 assists.
2. Sydney Jones
20 assists in a season — Sets a new record high for the Lakota school district (for boys or girls, East, West, and Old Lakota)

Dudukovich cements herself as one of the best female soccer players to ever come out of Cincinnati.
Last year she was a DA player and an OSU commit. This year she’s a household name.
