Volley For the Cure 2020
The 2020 Volley for the Cure (VFC) event will be held on September 8th as our Lakota West Firebirds take on the Princeton Vikings. This will be our 14th year hosting this event! Over the past thirteen years, have raised $154,513 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in large part due to our community sponsors and support from the Lakota community. We are so very grateful for your support.
Like many things this year, we have taken our fundraising efforts online. There are multiple ways to support Volley for the Cure and the Komen Foundation.
General Raffle/General Donations
To purchase general raffle tickets or make a donation, payment will be sent to Coach Stu Hagglund via Venmo. Prizes include gift cards to Meijer ($100), Stone Creek Restaurant, Dairy Queen, Skyline, UDF, Arby’s, and more! Additional prizes include Cleveland Cavaliers Tickets, Reds Hall of Fame Tickets, a signed Camern Heyward photo, and more! Winners will be contacted via Venmo and prizes delivered (if at Lakota West) or mailed.

Silent Auction
Online auction items this year will include a signed Ryan Kelly jersey, jewelry from Yelton’s Fine Jewelers, a lottery ticket bouquet, movie night basket, gift card baskets, and more! The online auction will open Tuesday September 8 at 8:00 am and will be open through September 25th. Items and bidding for the online silent auction can be found at:
