Michael won the 100-yard backstroke championship at the GMC Championship meet held at Mason on Saturday.  He also attained all GMC status by swimming legs on two relay teams. Lorenz was the highest scoring Lakota male swimmer to bring home the gold.

Grace won the 100-yard freestyle championship at the GMC Championship meet held at Mason Saturday.  She also attained all GMC status by placing third in the 100-yard fly stroke and second as part of the 200-yard medley relay team.  Glossen was the highest scoring Firebird at this years GMC meet
